Hello earthlingib I appreciate your feed back thank you.

I personally feel it is pioneering because it is hard to do and because we are carrying stories with us of how the world works. I feel it would require a great level of unlearning and re-imagining. I feel it is the current mind set that is causing ruin to our lives, when we think in terms of, jobs, bills, business, money, profits, industry we are carrying on with the business as usual mindset. I feel when we open our minds up to being present to nature we invite conversation with trees, plants, the land, the wind, the rain, the rivers and seas, we move away from the left brain thinking mode that brought us to this place and move towards a heart felt imaginative right brain mode.
I’m calling for a pioneering project that is a journey of the heart and imagination, we do not need to be perfectionists, we can all learn from one another relatively quickly when in that state of interest and flow. A massive factor of the disease in our society is boredom, schools make learning boring, jobs make work boring, bills and tax forms make life boring, so much of our society is founded on boredom and it can lead to escapism and addiction. I say lets make life more interesting and wonderful, lets have more music and song, more jokes, abundance of fruit and nut trees, let the land grow. Lets bring humanity back in balance with nature, we are not the true destroyers of home world earth we are merely victims like horses ridden into battle, I say the true criminals here are the parasitical microbiome in our guts corrupting our bodies and aligning our way of life to suit their being.

Lets imagine something new and beautiful.

I’m not sure what you’re calling for, but I do live close to nature and have tried to prepare enough wood to keep the heating on for the winter - without machines. And have tried to grow some food, also without machines. Maybe your imagination will provide you with food and heating and clothes, but for most of us, that means hard work. Still, perhaps the pioneering right brain project can do more than meets the eye. Time will tell.
Are you serious about microbiome being ā€˜criminal’?

I wouldn’t really call mirobiome criminal simply because it is what it is, but our microbiome in the gut effects how we behave and is likely a major cause for much of the behavior of society as a whole, and in effect we are like horses that are ridden on since the microbiome in our bodies does what it can to direct our actions. I guess having a balanced symbiotic microbiome in our guts would help change things on a large scale (both within and without reflecting one another)

Imagination I feel is a major factor for changing the direction of action, and it can feed you. I feel many people work hard around the world but are still very malnourished as I feel what provides food is soil, rain, sun etc.

What I’m calling for is a mass transition of a way of life from one of ill health to one of wholeness, wellness, balance and harmony with one another, ourselves and nature as a whole and it requires I feel a lot of unlearning and imagination of another way of being (I guess learn from children, like becoming a child again full of wonder, play, enthusiasm, curiosity, etc, but also bringing in the balance of aged wisdom)

Do you not think that what we put in our bodies influences what kind of microbiome develops in them? For health, we need some components manufactured by the microbiome, and also our bodies manufacture some proteins based on the DNA contained by the microbiome. So your metaphor of them riding us might be a bit simplistic.
It is kind of true that food is produced by soil, rain and sun… but via plants. We cannot eat soil. And soils being largely impoverished (and their microbiome largely killed off by chemicals), rain being unreliable causing cycles of droughts and floods, and sun… well… overheating the planet… perhaps than the call to restore the planet’s soils, water and carbon cycles is in order. Which many people are already working on and we all need to get involved and help them…
Anyway.. I think I am a bit too earthly for your ideals… Perhaps other people ā€˜get it’? I wish you luck on your journey and may it be a fulfilling one.

That’s exactly it, what we put in our bodies influences what microbiome develops (is that me wanting the doughnut caked in chocolate and sugar or the microbiome sending signals in my body creating cravings). It’s widely accepted that microbes outnumber human cells by a considerable margin, with estimates suggesting that around 90% of our cells are microbial. Think about the microbiomes that we are born with and the mother eating what she eats will effect what microbiome will develop in the child. The metaphor of us being ridden like horses is simple because its a deep subject here, but if anyone becomes interested theres a link here to a beautiful documentary by essentia foundation https://youtu.be/YxU0ZTt_3YY?si=cGYhSZcWyRrSXPf_, there also beautiful people like Zak Bush who go into detail and much more online.

No we don’t eat the soil but act more like gardeners in tune with the land and our bodies, I’ll leave another link here its about permaculture Geoff Lawton Greening the Desert https://youtu.be/keQUqRg2qZ0?si=M5yEAo25xRq2SyBe

I don’t think anyone is too earthly for re-imagining a new way of being (I myself am a laborer) personally I believe its the earth re-imagining through us to co create a more harmonious world.

Thank you and I wish you well on your journey.

This is so funny.. .if you want to call for us to eat different things, then sure… many people do that too. If you want to call on people to start doing permaculture, then sure, join many people who do that. That’s not what you said initially though, at least not in those words… But sure… I agree: we need to change what we eat, and we need to practice permaculture. Simple. Down to earth. Literally.

Recent reading about embryonic cells for eyes (in humans) being identical to those of the skin. So, an out-of-the box question:
How to pay more attention to what our skin sees?

If anyone thinks it’s a daft question, try using your imagination..creativity can answer lots of questions like this, they may not be scientifically correct but there’s something useful about the process..

A what if.. sort of thing.

Thanks for sharing the video @James , on the subject of Nature, did you know that Albert Einstein is recorded as saying something along the lines of ā€˜when we look deeply into Nature the mystery of reality unfolds’ - the actual quote is accessible online, and here we have found many inspirations through observations of Nature.

Thanks again

Hello AllBrightClub and thank you for that fun imaginary exercise with our skin. I find I become more sensitive to my surroundings, like noticing my whole body. Your exercise reminded me of dr Bruce Lipton and his research into cells and how the environment effects what cells will become instead of genes being the reason for what they become, also another phenomena came to mind being ā€œEmergenceā€, how small simple elements can come together and form complex structures.
Einsteins quote is beautiful, it emphasizes the immense wonder and beauty of this world. Thank you
