I am Koen, 49 years old from Belgium. Former independent arborist, now mostly self-educated independent socio-ecological scientist with some internationally peer reviewed papers on critical realism in socio-economics. I am passionate about systems and would love to develop ‘socio-ecologically intelligent economics’, that has a high ‘energy wellbeing efficiency’. We can do so much better than this flawed system called ‘capitalism’… and I have also investigated the need for a critical criminology, as there is some colonial and transgenerational criminality involved with capitalism… so yes: positively and radically transformative, but also with critical awareness of existing power structures and institutionalised criminality.
