After the WEAll Hubs Guide Launch event, a few of us connected around the idea of starting an England hub. It quickly became apparent that lots of people are enthusiastic and we have had much productive communication. Our numbers have grown and (with the WEAll Global team’s help) we have gained quite a bit of momentum. Soon we will be announcing a date for an online gathering at which interested individuals and organisations are invited to join us in sharing and discussing our ideas about how to get the England WEAll hub off to a flying start.
We would love to start a conversation here about the sorts of things people would like to use the hub for, and your hopes about what it may be able to achieve in the long-term.
All comments, expressions of interest, and words of wisdom or general support welcomed!
Good start Oliver. I’m sure others will join soon
Thank you for kicking off this discussion Oliver. I am also interested in hearing what peoples’ visions are for the hub.
Broadly, I would very much like to see the hub facilitate opportunities for connection and collaboration between those who put human and environmental needs first. A hub that promotes the great work that already exists in England and, hopefully, a hub from which new ideas and action can grow.
Thanks @Conor , yes, primarily connection and collaboration for sure. I’m also hoping a unifying message will emerge that can be presented to the public and decision makers. There are so many potential members in England, that’s a lot of voices to be shouting the same thing!
Thanks @DavidSomekh , it’s good to have you on the team!
