“Remember You Are Wild” learning session

*“Remember You Are Wild” learning session on Feb 16 - with the team behind _My Octopus Teacher_ (Co-creation with the More-than-Human sandbox)*

On Monday 16 February, we’ll enter into a working dialogue with the Sea Change Project, the environmental storytelling organisation behind the Oscar-winning documentary _My Octopus Teacher._

Sea Change Project works across film, education, exhibitions, and marine research to explore what they call emotional ecology: the role of lived, embodied connection in shaping how humans relate to the more-than-human world.

Rather than treating nature connection as metaphor or mindset, this work engages it as a practice with ethical, cultural, and ecological consequences.

Our guest speaker Swati Thiyagarajan, award-winning conservation journalist and nature storyteller, will share how encounters with kelp forests, whales, sharks, and otters point to a simple but unsettling insight:

When we are disconnected from nature, we struggle to make choices that truly matter.
When we remember we are part of the living world, something shifts.
