Join us each month on Zoom for WEAll Talks—a series where members of our community share innovative ideas, insightful case studies, and real-world experiences centered on transforming our economic systems. Each session features a 30-minute presentation by one of our inspiring speakers, followed by a 30-minute interactive Q&A, opening the floor for discussion and exploration.
These talks are open to everyone, and we warmly encourage you to invite friends, colleagues, or anyone curious about the future of our economic systems. Whether you’re a seasoned changemaker or new to the conversation, come be part of a community that’s actively reimagining the world around us.
Mark your calendar, bring your questions, and let’s ignite change—together!
A Wellbeing Economy is not built through a single approach, but through many—activists, policymakers, business leaders, artists, educators, and communities all contributing in their own way. The key is staying connected while honouring our differences.
This WEAll Talk explores how we resist fragmentation while embracing plurality, with guest speaker Hajar, a storyteller and ecosystem weaver dedicated to uniting movements for transformation.
We’ll explore:
How to bridge silos and unify movements
Why connection is a radical act of resistance
How weaving relationships can birth new economic possibilities
The old systems are unraveling. We feel it everywhere. But change doesn’t happen in isolation. This conversation is for anyone working for change—activists, policymakers, business leaders, educators, artists, and community builders.
We don’t need to be the same to move in the same direction.
Let’s weave something stronger, together.
In a moment of information overload and existential crisis, we’re in need of wisdom more than ever to help us make sense of how to be the change we wish to see in this world.
Join us for this special WEAll talk hosted by Amanda Janoo who will be facilitating with two prominent Elders in the Wellbeing Economy Movement, Stewart Wallis and Pedro Tarak, as they share their personal journeys, insights and advice on how to live in integrity within systems that encourage and reward big-ego’s and competitive mindsets.
This WEAll Talk has been a long-time dream for Amanda as she describes Pedro and Stewart as embodiments of “evolving away from anti-patriarchy” and illustrative of how we can all challenge toxic-masculinity (regardless of our gender) by leading with compassion, care and humility.
When and where: This coming Wednesday, 2nd April at 3.00pm UTC
Thanks to everyone who joined our recent WEAll Talk: “Evolving Away from Patriarchy”
It was a powerful conversation about how transforming our economies also means challenging the patriarchal values that underpin them- centering care, equity, and connection instead.
On Wednesday 2 July (3:00 PM UTC) we’re gathering to explore: How can real-world evidence help shape economies that work for people and the planet?
We’re hosting the launch of a brand new open-access book full of insights from 18 countries on how wellbeing ideas are already shaping policy, from income and work to democracy, health, education, and more.
You’ll get to hear from the wonderful editors: Marie Briguglio, Natalia V. Czap and Kate Laffan
This is your chance to be part of the conversation, bring your own reflections, and feel inspired by what’s possible when we design economies for life, not just profit.
Reminder: July WEAll Talk – “Wellbeing and Policy Evidence for Action” Book Launch! TOMORROW: Wednesday, 2 July 3:00 PM UTC

We’re gathering tomorrow for a very special WEAll Talk – and you won’t want to miss it.
This month, we’re celebrating the launch of the new open-access book: “Wellbeing and Policy Evidence for Action”
featuring 41 contributing authors from 18 countries!
As wellbeing becomes a more explicit policy goal around the world, the need for credible, action-oriented evidence is growing. This talk will explore insights from the introductory chapter and appendix, which offer both a big-picture overview and practical takeaways for policy-makers.
It also explores policy frameworks from diverse countries including Bhutan, New Zealand, UAE, Finland, Canada, Australia, Japan, and others.
Thank you so much for joining us at the July WEAll Talk and the official launch of the book: Wellbeing and Policy: Evidence for Action
We’re so grateful to our amazing speakers and contributing authors, and to our wonderful host @Lisa for guiding such a rich conversation. And of course, thank you to everyone who attended and brought your energy, reflections, and questions!
In a world addicted to speed, erasure, and exploitation, what does it mean to resist with beauty, dignity, and craft?
In our August WEAll Talk, activist and storyteller Pushpanath Krishnamurthy takes us on an extraordinary journey through his new book The Unreasonable Transformers of South India.
Walking over 500,000 steps, Push met weavers, carvers, dyers, and women artisans, unreasonable changemakers reviving the soul of India’s handmade economy and defying the market’s violent one.
This is an invitation into a living Ahimsa (non-violent) economy, one that honours ancestral knowledge, slows down time, and restores dignity to labour.
From toy makers breaking the chains of bonded labour to basket weavers whose fingers carry whispered histories, these are stories of resistance and rebirth.
Date: 19 August 2025 (Next week Tuesday!) Time: 1:00pm UTC / 6.30pm IST Online, via Zoom, with English–Spanish interpretation
Topic:Blue Moral Economy: When Sufficiency Meets Seawater: Building a Blue Moral Economy
The wellbeing economy movement can’t end at the shoreline. This conversation introduces the Blue Moral Economy framework: a bold approach that blends ethical imperatives from diverse faith traditions with regenerative marine practices.
We’ll explore:
How faith, finance, and ocean wellbeing are deeply interconnected
What it means to redirect $7 trillion in values-based capital toward restoration
Community-centred marine initiatives putting regeneration before extraction
This is a chance to dive deep into how our shared values can reshape the future of ocean economies and how the WEAll community can help carry this movement forward.
A big thank you to everyone who joined yesterday’s WEAll Talk: Blue Moral Economy.
For those who couldn’t be there (and for those who’d like to revisit it), the recording is now available on our YouTube channel, alongside past WEAll Talks: Watch the recording here
