Tamsyn Widdon spent four years on Cornwall Council’s Audit Committee, Economic Growth Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and was appointed as one of only two councillors to the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Economic Forum.
She helped strengthen the Council’s Strategic Risks register and embed regenerative economics language in the Business Plan and Good Growth Plan.
She speaks from direct experience of what these tools can and cannot do.
Join us on Zoom at 12pm on Wednesday, 24th June to learn from Cornwall Council’s progress so far and discuss how we can use a better understanding of government funding and accounting rules to deliver real, positive change in England.
