Hi my name is Lizzy Noone I work for Worldwise Global Schools a Global Citizenship Education programme I’ve been keenly interested in a Wellbeing Economy for years now and have integrated a lot of the thinking and resources in to my workshops with teachers. I’m really enjoying all the webinars etc so relevant and brilliant some great learning in it. I come from a global justice perspective and I feel out of all the movements and ‘alternative’ ways of viewing our vision for the future this alliance is definitely the best at considering the whole world not just the Global North. I’m also hugely interested in art and creativity both as a hobby and a form of activism.
Hello. My name is Paul. I have been an academic economist all my working life. In 2018 I was one of the authors of Wellbeing Economics: The Capabilities Approach to Prosperity. I was a founding trustee of the WEAll Aotearoa New Zealand hub. In my spare time, I used to be an active football referee; now I help out with the coaching of referees.
Good morning WEAlls!
I’m Maria, part of the Amp Team. I’m currently based in Rome (Italy) and I’ve been a Degrowther Activist for more than 12 years
I love dancing (any type, I’m a kind of dancing-jukebox!) and I’m quite lazy at cooking. I guess my best recipe is the “bread cake”, a cake made with stale bread (I know, it doesn’t sound that acctracting, but I can guarantee that it’s delicious! )
Hi Gang, I’m based in Gower, Wales and having just finished my ‘big build’ (bungalow to house), I’m starting to think about getting involved in my favourite networks again. WEAll has long been one of those
One quick question - is the Slack channel due to live on, or will this completely supercede it?
Hello, appreciate being part of this powerful community. I am contributing to an international collective (US launch) that leverages collaborative dialogic practices and training to transform how people engage together to create profound, sustainable results - individually and as a community.
Hi everyone! I’m Kathleen, a passionate lifelong learner driven by curiosity. I discovered the Wellbeing Economy Alliance back in June, and I strongly resonate with its goals. I look forward to connect with fellow community members and find ways to contribute.
A key ideas are to communicate in ways that help people think better (…and also improving emotional functioning). Our idea for taking it to scale is to inspire the members of established groups to act as citizen communicators, and provide innovative communication tools to make them effective.
I have been in the business of improving brain functioning for decades as a Feldenkrais practitioner, psychotherapist, and creativity trainer.
I am a committed to the well-being of coming generations.
Hey Everyone - I read about 20 Introductions before realising that I could be reading them all day, its so nice to see such a large number of engaged members of the community. Hope to meet more of you over time.

Hello,
My name is Wim Maat. I live in the Netherlands, near Delft and the Hague.
I am interested in the mathematical aspects of issues such as:
What is the way to distribute work fairly among the population if you know which products are needed and how to make them?
How can we avoid shortages, such as those caused by failed harvests?
How can we prevent overproduction?
How can we arrange answers to these questions to construct a logical and manageable economy?
On my website www.wmmw.nl, I have articulated my own answers to these questions as a contribution to the vast discussion on how to proceed.
Hi Everyone, I’m part of a small group of active WEAll participants working towards an England hub. If anyone is interested in being kept informed (or even helping in some way) then let me know and I’ll make sure you are updated somehow!
Hi All!
My name is Bo Herlin, and I live in Stockholm. I became a member of WEAll Sweden last year, when the hub started, much because I thought the international activities and publications resonated very well with my own ideas and interests – being a recently retired book editor, specialized in social subjects. As a participant in the climate- and environmental movement I also worked with the problem of how to make the society resilient at different levels (up to the international relations). The main result of this work is a small, concentrated booklet, which you can (I hope) download here (from Dropbox): Ecodemocracy
I would very much appreciate (helpful ) comments on it (on its last page I may have somewhat controversial, but in my view very important messages ).
/Bo
My passion is plant-powered wellbeing. With an educational background in Ayurveda, the ancient, traditional medicine of India, I coach people towards better health and vitality using the power of plants. I create tailored nutritional supplementation plans that make sense and offer personal support for gradual lifestyle changes—plants are a central part of my approach. I also provide courses and offer plants for offices, helping staff benefit from the wellbeing that nature brings into their workspace.
I have a strong concern with the agricultural industry, which focuses on improving processes like production, distribution, and storage, rather than prioritizing the health and wellbeing plants can offer. This is what drives my interest in this group. For me, it’s essential that plants are nutrient-dense, thriving with vibrant health and immunity, so they can pass these qualities on to us. So change is needed!
When I am not immersed in work I like to walk my dogs, learn something new like the piano, and enjoy nature and work in the garden.
