Greetings WeAll community! I’m pretty sure I learned about this community while listening to a podcast, maybe Nonviolence Radio or Accidental Gods? I’m an educator and a parent and grandparent motivated to help in ushering in new cultural ways of being that will benefit all beings for generations. I believe that imagination is a powerful tool for building a world in which all beings are thriving. As a founding member of a fledgling Peace Fellowship in my faith community, I am interested in learning ways we can work/ play locally to build wellbeing economies in our wider community.
Welcome @rbrooking so happy to have your perspective here!
Hello!! I’m Dan from Toronto, representing SoDy (the ‘historical policy lab’). What the heck does that mean?? Check us out: so-dy.org
So happy to join this AMAZING community ![]()
A warm welcome @SoDyDan! Your website and the intro video is really interesting. I’m just looping in my wonderful colleague @KatePetriw who is based in the Toronto area too. Hoping you might find a time to connect. Warm regards, Margreet
Hi everyone, I’m Dave. I recently discovered WEAll and felt a deep yes - this is exactly the kind of work I want to support and be part of.
I’ve spent over 20 years as a community builder and systems thinker in the startup world, including working with some of the earliest social networks focused on positive impact. I’ve worked across mission-driven platforms, spiritual spaces, and wellness companies. Through all of it, I’ve come to understand not only what uplifts people, but also what burns them out.
These days, I’m focused on helping build what’s next. I’m especially drawn to regenerative business models, participatory frameworks, and emotionally intelligent leadership. I believe in the kind of economy WEAll is championing - one where dignity, purpose, and shared wellbeing are at the center.
I’m currently envisioning a company called The Resonance Company that would align with many of the principles this community holds dear - things like shared compensation, collaborative leadership, and soul-aligned offerings. I’m here to connect, contribute, and be part of this shift in any way I can.
Grateful to be here,
Dave
Thanks @Margreet!! Yes, when I had my onboarding call with Thobile, they suggested I reach out to @KatePetriw (which is still sadly on my to-do list…). Always up for a chat ![]()
I’m Abdul Semakula from Kampala, Uganda. In Uganda we have a rich totemic system, and I’m of the pangolin totem. The pangolin does not thrive in captivity because of its specialised diet (ants) which also makes it the guardian of the forest maintaining healthy soils and biodiversity. I too have been trying to escape this colonial-founded mechanistic narrative which keeps all of us captive to its extractive interests, rediscovering myself as a guardian of our biocultural heritage of Obuntu, living in right relation with nature.
Heartwarming to be among unlearners, and relearners, feeding on a living systems diet and evolve to higher-orders of consciousness and potential.
During the climate week, i had the opportunity to do a podcast with Maearth’s The Regeneration will be Funded, which was uploaded yesterday https://shorturl.at/wPL8q
This coincided with the launch of our updated webpage about Obuntu Resets https://obunturesets.com/ which is aimed at naturalising money from a tool of extraction to regeneration through units of care that flow towards enriching life relations in a place bioregion by restoring trust in place.
Feel free to support in any way you can to upcoming relational activities at the bottom of the page, connection to potential funding partners or sharing both links.
With gratitude.
Abdul Semakula

What an interesting project! I look forward to following it.
